100% Blaufränkisch

Blaufränkisch makes wonderful, food-friendly medium to light bodied wines with bright acidity. To add structure and longevity, our 2024 Blaufränkisch was aged for 6 months in 100% New French Oak barrels. This wine is perfect at cellar temperature (56 degrees) and shows flavors of black and red raspberries, cocoa, vanilla, and spice. It pairs well with spicy foods and unusual flavors due to its juicy acidity and soft tannic structure.
50% whole cluster native fermentation and 50% crushed & destemmed with commercial yeast. Twenty one day maceration on the skins. Aged 6 months in 100% New French Oak barrels. Unfined and unfiltered.
