This wine showcases Michigan terroir and how our sand and clay soils combine with our climate to produce wines similar to Burgundy. The grapes are from the Terra Alta vineyard located on the crown of a ridge just east of Baroda, Michigan. Aged in 1 and 2 year French Oak barrels, the refined touches of oak and lees combine with generous fruit to create a classic and elegant Chardonnay.

Vignoles is an old French American Hybrid grape that is susceptible to noble rot under the right conditions. This vintage was perfect for the development of this special fungus that penetrates the skin of the grapes and encourages the grapes to dehydrate and concentrate the sugars and acids in the juice, resulting in a wonderful and unique wine. The aromas and flavors of dried apricots, honey, and dried yellow straw are pronounced and would stand up to strong foods such as liver pate, grilled sausage, onions, and sauerkraut.

Carbonic maceration is a type of fermentation that allows grape enzymes to break down acid and sugar inside of the grapes before yeast fermentation begins. The process emphasizes fruity flavors and softens natural acidity. It is usually used on red grapes to make beaujolais nouveau, but I used the technique on Riesling instead. The result is a dry, but fruity and spicey white wine with flavors of cinnamon, ripe apricots, candied orange peel, jasmine flowers, and a white pepper finish.

Our whole cluster pressed Pinot Gris has a beautiful blend of acidity and fruit. We take special care in the hand harvesting and gentle pressing of the whole grape clusters to avoid bitterness and maintain the delicate acidity. The resulting wine has flavors of ripe yellow apple and lemon peel with an elegant mineral finish.

The dry weather in October 2025 created perfect conditions for late-ripening Riesling to fully develop. The particular vineyard also maintained excellent acidity to balance the ripe peach and sweet jasmine flavors in our classic off-dry Riesling.

In the Northern Italian region of Friuli, Pinot Grigio is traditional made in a style called Ramato, which means "copper". Our Skin Contact Pinot Gris is inspired by this traditional style of wine. Unique color and flavor develop from extra time with the pink-colored skins, resulting in a beautiful copper color. The complex aromas and flavors of lemon marmalade, red apples, raw almonds, and soft cheese in this wine are balanced by a medium body and long finish. Is this an orange wine? A rosé? Or a White wine? Taste it and see what you think!

Cabernet Franc is a red grape with thick red skins. If you hand pick early and press lightly you can make a white wine from this wonderful red grape. The careful monitoring of juice chemistry during pressing and special yeast selection create a complex wine with aromas of white grapefruit, meyer lemon, and apple blossoms combined with a great acid structure and underlying minerality. Our White Cabernet Franc pairs well with sunshine, dessert, or salad.

A 100% Gewurzträminer wine with pronounced aromas of lychee and jasmine that really sing! The flavors deliver the same exotic sweetness and finish with a zingy note of grapefruit pith. 5 % Residual Sugar

Ice Wine is a special dessert wine made from grapes that are left on the vine until winter temperatures drop below 17 degrees. After they freeze on the vine, the grapes are pressed while still frozen. Much of the water remains frozen while only the most concentrated juice is released. The resulting wine is lusciously sweet, but balanced by high acid and pronounced flavors of orange marmalade, marzipan, and ripe peaches. The long citrus finish makes this wine a perfect dessert pairing.
